[I tell people it’s my love of science and medicine, but Carson Beckett was the inspiration for me to become a doctor.]

[Rodney should have just gone Fishing with Beckett. He’d have lived and Fishing is awesome!]

[I found the whole Wraith genocide story line really disturbing, especially the allegedly sweet Carson Beckett blithely experimenting on them like a warm-hearted Dr. Mengele.]

[when i was in the hospital i had the most horrid doctors ever. they were terrible. i started to imagine that carson beckett was standing by looking on sympathetically. it helped me cope. (okay, the drugs might have helped too, but mostly it was thinking about the good doctors of scifi.)]

[I liked Carson Beckett, but I wasn’t invested enough in the character to get upset about him being killed off. I just wish they hadn’t chosen such a stupid way to do it. (Exploding tumors? Really?)]
